Wow, Mr. Ahh leaves a tough act to follow! But I'll give it a shot. Here are two excellent "re-edits" by Norwegian nice-guy Todd Terje. While the changes to these tracks probably do fall short of "remix" categorization, they are certainly significant edits that change the feel of the songs. Terje has gained a following through not only his many re-edits of old classics, but also with his original compositions. I'll save those for some other time though.Todd edits "I Can't Help It" by Michael Jackson. He's sped it up, added some more percussion and a three minute drum solo. He's made a very good song a very great one! I was going to make this the centerpiece of my Mixtape Madness championship contender but didn't advance to that round, thanks to the right-wing Bible-Belt hillbilly voters that populate the Gate City. Sour grapes aside, this is nine minutes well spent!
Munich Machine gave us some nice sax with "A Whiter Shade of Pale", now Hancock gives us some more brass...blatantly synthesized. Next time I'm on a Carnival Cruise, I'm looping this throughout the entire trip.

can't go wrong with Terje.
I just heard this Can't Help It edit on a Rich Medina mix. I can't agree more - spent 9 minutes.
